That’s why we want you to know that every guest at DogTown is personally cared for by the experienced owners, **Craig and Cindy Jolly**, who also live on-site with their own pack. **Since co-founding the facility in 2001**, DogTown Maryland has been both their home and their business, ensuring a dedicated, family-like environment for your pet. **We are proud to offer a unique experience that is one of a kind in the United States.**
**Craig Jolly - Co-Owner** brings decades of expertise, beginning with an Honors Graduation from the Lackland Air Force Base Military Working Dog Program (1970-1971). His career includes service as a Sentry Dog Handler in Vietnam (1971-1972), Military Patrol Dog Handler roles, and specializing in drug/explosive detection training (1973-1974). From 1974 to 1981, Craig owned and operated several successful K-9 businesses in Texas, including security and manufacturing firms. From 1981 to 2001, he owned Tri-State K-9 Service, offering numerous obedience and protection classes across Virginia and Maryland, breeding/selling protection dogs, and training Search & Rescue dogs. He is also the author of three guides on dog obedience and problem-solving and a contributor to *Off Lead Magazine*.
**Cindy Jolly - Co-Owner** has extensive experience, primarily in professional dog grooming, owning and managing salons in Ohio, California, and Maryland between 1982 and 1998. Since **co-founding DogTown Maryland in 2001**, she has served as Co-Owner/Operator, in addition to being co-owner of Tri-State K-9 Service (since 2002). She founded "For Tweets Sake / Wings From Down Under" in 2007 and is currently pursuing certification as a Raw Dog Food Nutrition Specialist (since 2019).
